PARISH SOCIAL & AGM

Come along to the Parish Social chat to Parish Councillors, and peruse the displays prepared by village community groups while enjoying drinks and nibbles. The Parish Social starts at 6.30pm on 14th May 2018 in Knightlow School Hall and is followed by the Parish Council AGM at 7.30pm, and the ordinary monthly meeting at 8pm. During the AGM, the current chairman of the Parish Council will deliver his annual report, and the clerk will give an overview of the accounts. The Chair and Vice-Chair for the next 12 months, will also be elected. Reports will also be received from, the Village Hall Trustees, All Saints Church, Knightlow School Governing Body and Stretton Charities. The ordinary monthly meeting follows straight after, and includes a public forum at the beginning which is an opportunity for members of the public in attendance to comment on any business which has been raised in previous meetings, or raise matters for future consideration at subsequent meetings. Everyone is welcome at all three events, but you are not obliged to stay all evening, however all meetings will be concluded by 9.30pm. For catering purposes, please RSVP to the Parish Clerk.
