The Parish Council has no jurisdiction over parking or speeding but it continually tries to combat the recurring problems in these areas by keeping in close contact with Warwickshire Police. It has corresponded with our PCSO on several occasions regarding these issues. In addition to this, the Parish Council has invested in signage and strategically placed planters to encourage drivers to slow down and park with consideration. It has also been instrumental in the implementation of the Community Speed Watch Team who regularly monitor traffic in Stretton and Princethorpe, and report speeding vehicles to the Police. Residents with concerns about, parking, speeding or other anti-social behaviour or any criminal activity are encouraged to contact the Safer Neighbourhood Teams on 01788 853851 or via 101.
