Sunday 13th January 2019 – Annual Plough Service
The Blessing of the Plough will take place at 11am in All Saints Church, with Plough Pie and Scrumpy being served afterwards. All welcome!

Monday 14th January 2019 – WI Walk
The walks are gentle and arranged by the WI but everyone is welcome! Meet on the Village Green at 10am.

Tuesday 15th January 2019 – History Society Meeting
At 7.30pm in the village hall Malcolm Gould will give an illustrated talk on ‘Stretton Between the Wars’ based on a survey of 1939. All welcome, entry is £2. For more information call Anne on 02476 542703

 Saturday 19th January 2019 – Film Night

Saturday 9th February 2019 – Stretton Ladies Fellowship Sewing Day
The ladies will be sewing bags for patients in the Breast Care Unit who have undergone surgery. If you are free and would like to help please drop into the village hall between 10am and 2pm or contact Veronica Ward in advance on 02476 545896

Saturday 16th February 2019 – The WI Annual Supper and Quiz
Sausage/Cheese, jacket potato and beans followed by a yummy pudding. Entry £8 starting at 7.30pm.

Thursday 28th February 2019 – Fashion Show
A Fashion Show with lots of Ladies and Children Brand Clothing available for purchase in Knightlow School Hall. All proceeds go to our local village school. Click here for details.

Wednesday 6th March – Saturday 9th March 2019 – ‘Love Begins at 50’
The latest production from Stretton on Stage is a laugh-a-minute marital farce. Come along and watch our own village ‘A-list’ thespians perform Love Begins at 50. Tickets on sale from Brookside Stores on 19th January 2019, at £10 each. For more details please Click Here

Saturday 30th March 2019 – Live and Local
‘Stolen’ live play from the Devil’s Violin Theatre Company in the Village Hall.

Monday 8th April 2019 – Parish Social and Annual Parish Meeting.
Stretton-on-Dunsmore Parish Council would like to invite its residents to come along from 6.30pm to an informal Parish Social event in advance of it’s more prescribed Annual Parish Meeting, which begins at 7.30pm. There will be an opportunity to chat to Borough, County and Parish Councillors and learn more about local project. The Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Seccombe, will also be in attendance with some of his colleagues. Drinks and nibbles will be available from 6.30pm in Knightlow School Hall.|

Saturday 4th May 2019 – Christian Aid Coffee Morning
There will be no envelope collections for Christian Aid this year in Stretton, instead a coffee morning is being held in the Village Hall from 10.30am – 12pm.

Monday 6th & 20th May 2019 – WI Walk
The walks are gentle and arranged by the WI but everyone is welcome! Meet on the Village Green at 10am.

Tuesday 7th May – Village Hall AGM
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 7th May 2019 in the Village Hall at 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend.

Wednesday 8th & 22nd May and 12th June 2019 – Stretton on Stage
For it’s 2020 production of ‘Cinderella Rockafella’, Stretton on Stage want to spread our casting net over the whole of Stretton and beyond. If you are interested in performing or if backstage is more your thing, come along to one of the open evenings workshops in Stretton Village Hall from 8.15pm.

Thursday 9th May 2019 – Coffee and A Chat
Hosted by Stretton Ladies Fellowship, but open to all! Village Hall 10.30am – 12pm.

Saturday 11th May 2019 – Duck Race
Lots of family fun to be had at the annual duck race held on the Village Green from 3pm.
There are always loads of great of great prizes donated by local businesses and individuals. All proceeds goes to Stretton Scout Groups. For more details please click here

Saturday 11th May 2019 – Village Progressive Supper
Starting at 7pm in aid of Global Care.

Saturday 18th May 2019 – Knit & Natter
Come along to All Saints Church between 10.30am and 12.30pm to help make a knitted Christmas tree to display in the church. After twelfth night it will be resewn into cosy blankets and donated to Hope4.

Saturday 18th May 2019 – Plant Sale in aid of Teams4U
Plants, tea, coffee, cake and other produce for sale at 24 School Lane, Stretton on Dunsmore, CV23 9ND from 10am – 2pm. All proceeds to the Shoe Box Appeal (TEAMS4U)

Monday 3rd & 17th June 2019 – WI Walk
The walks are gentle and arranged by the WI but everyone is welcome! Meet on the Village Green at 10am.

Saturday 29th June 2019 – Village Fete
On the Village Green from 2.30pm. New games, Art Competition, Great Stretton Bake-Off, Bouncy Castle, Cream Teas, Dog Show, Duck Race, Egg Throwing, Food & Craft Stalls, Gin/Vodka Infusion Competition, Raffle and of course Bilton Silver Band! Saturday 14th September 2019 – Bacon Baps & Crime Prevention.
Come along and enjoy a bacon roll, cup of tea and a chat in the village hall from 9.30am – all proceeds to the Village Hall. PCSO Dave Banks will also be in attendance along with Parish Council representatives to offer crime prevention advice, free property marking packs and free wheelie bin stickers, as part of the Rural Crime Initiative Scheme. The Parish Council is delighted to share this event with the Village Hall and Warwickshire Police. Children and families welcome – free colouring sheets available.
