Coming up in November 2017:

Saturday 4th November – Bonfire Night
At Fosse Way Playing Field, Bonfire lit at 6.00pm, fireworks at 7.00pm. Family tickets £8 in advance from Brookside Stores.

Wednesday 1st & 15th – Bridge Club
Beginners welcome, meet at 7.15pm in the Shoulder of Mutto

Thursday 9th – Coffee and a Chat
Everyone is welcome to come along and join Stretton Ladies Fellowship between 10.30am-12.00noon in the Village Hall.

Saturday 11th – An Evening of Nostalgia
Music and dancing to hits from the 1950s onwards with a light supper provided. Starts 7.30pm at Knightlow School, tickets £7 each, click for more detail

Sunday 12th – Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service
1st Stretton on Dunsmore Scouts Groups will parade though the village from 10.15am, starting off at Brookside Surgery and proceeding up to All Saints Church where there will be a full remembrance service. Afterwards at 12.00 Reverend Ali will lead a short service at the monument on the A45 island where a wreath will be laid by the Parish Council.

Monday 13th & Monday 27th – Village Walks
Gentle walks in the area starting at 10.00am on the Village Green, organised by Stretton-on-Dunsmore WI but open to all.

Tuesday 14th – Quiz Night
Stretton-on-Dunsmore Village Hall 7.30pm – the Trustees invite you to a not too serious evening of quiz and trivia. Teams of up to 6 at £3 a head, bring your own refreshments. Book a team and reserve a table – Mike Cooper T: 02476 544192 michael.cooper22@btopenworld.com

Wednesday 15th  – Mobile Library Visit
Village Green – 10.30am-11.30am
Rugby Lane – 11.35am-12.00noon

Saturday 25th – Skittles Night
Princethorpe WI invite everyone to a fun skittles night from 7.30pm at Stretton Village Hall with home cooked supper and pudding. Bring your own drinks and glasses, tickets £9 in advance.

Friday 1st December – Stretton Christmas Fayre and Light Switch On
From 5pm-7pm on the Village Green and in the Village Hall – gifts, games, mulled wine and mince pies, plus the chance to meet Father Christmas!
